There is a lack of a culture of scholarship in our academia hurting the use of libraries

RAWALPINDI: Libraries provide us with all sorts of books on a variety of different subjects. They provide free access to us to read about the ideas of writers on innumerable topics and compare their viewpoints. In addition to books and newspapers, various other archives are also available in multiple different languages.

Unfortunately, very few students are found using libraries for the purpose they have been established for. There is a lack of a culture of scholarship in our academia hurting the use of libraries. Very few students are found utlising library facilities to read books. Students, nowadays, seem to have little interest in reading books and instead look for shortcuts.

Educational institutions need to induce interest in students to read books. Libraries are the finest tools for students to gain worldly knowledge and information.
