A certain portion of Americans support Donald Trump’s rhetorical statement which is quite disturbing
HYDERABAD: Donald Trump’s statement calling for the banning of the entry of Muslims into the US has picked up steam. He has also offended women, Mexicans, disabled people, Jews, Chinese and immigrants. In many instances, Muslims have been known to bitterly oppose the twisted ideologies of terrorists, but this goes unnoticed.
Mr Trump’s statement has been rejected and condemned throughout the world, but a certain portion of Americans support his rhetoric, which is quite disturbing. Those who support Trump suffer from an acute myopic vision as they can’t see that Islam is not a monolithic religion; Muslims are divided into different schools of thought. They are secularists and liberal, too. They value coexistence of humans everywhere.
