Lack of gas for heating purposes is also responsible for spread of diseases, such as cough and influenza in Quetta
TURBAT: Every winter season, Quetta goes through an acute shortage of gas. The adjustment to the cold weather is extremely essential for survival, but the government’s distribution of gas has remained immensely faulty — the supply is almost next to nothing.
In addition, a significant section of the population has to resort to the use of firewood, which has given rise to heavy deforestation. The lack of gas for heating purposes is also responsible for the spread of diseases, such as cough and influenza. Therefore, I request the government to solve this problem through efficient utilisation of resources.
