You can access Facebook through the browser but the BlackBerry Facebook Application does not work.
KARACHI: This is with reference to Omair Zeeshan’s report of January 7 titled “Getting around the BlackBerry browsing quagmire”. While the assistance provided by the telecom companies, as mentioned in this report, seems helpful for customers there are still a number of applications that don’t work on the BlackBerry. You can access Facebook through the browser but the BlackBerry Facebook Application does not work. Similarly, Google Maps gives an error. Why can’t the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority be asked by the telecom companies to do something about the ban on using the Facebook application?
