It seems that the National Accountability Bureau is hardly ever able to get its hands on the most corrupt
RAWALPINDI: It seems that the National Accountability Bureau is hardly ever able to get its hands on the most corrupt in the country, who evade accountability by escaping through plea bargains and then continue with their illicit practices. In comparison, anyone guilty of smalltime corruption easily gets arrested by the anti-corruption magistrate and undergoes a jail term if convicted.
The worthy chief justice, being vocal against corruption, is requested to take suo-motu notice of this escape route for the mega-corrupt, and jail route for the small-time corrupt. A suitable remedy for this state of affairs urgently needs to be devised.
