ATMs in Turbat

Letter December 18, 2015
ATMs in Turbat banks sometimes don't function for 24 hours at a time, leaving account and BISP card holders in agony

TURBAT: The town of Turbat has more than nine banks, yet the public continues to suffer when it comes to banking services. The ATMs of these banks simply refuse to work — they sometimes stop functioning for 24 hours at a time, and the account holders and BISP card holders are confronting dozens of problems, for this reason alone.

Some BISP card holders who belong to rural areas are forced to wait for long hours in the banks till the ATMs start functioning again. The State Bank of Pakistan must tighten its rules and regulations and pay attention towards restoring ATM access to banks in the town.
