More than 50 doctors comprising clinical and basic faculty have not received their salaries for the past six months
KARACHI: More than 50 doctors comprising clinical and basic faculty, ranging from heads of departments to professors and lecturers of various departments of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical College (SMBBMC), Lyari, have not received their salaries for the past six months. These doctors have been recognised as members of the Sindh government through notification number SO-II-T(H)26-21-/09 (Pt-III), dated October 31, 2014.
However, for no reason, they have been deprived of their salaries for six months. We would like the principal of SMBBMC Lyari, the accountant general’s office, the chief secretary of the Sindh government and the chief minister to kindly look into the matter on an urgent basis.
