Bikik is an independent candidate contesting the elections using the symbol of a dhol
KARACHI: This letter refers to the news story appearing in this newspaper on December 4, “Wanted criminal contests LG polls in District Central” by Zubair Ashraf. Our joint candidates contesting elections for chairman and vice chairman in UC-44 District Central are Asghar Bikik and Omer Asghar Lal. They were given the party ticket under my signature and the party symbol of an arrow has been allotted to them by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Bikik is an independent candidate contesting the elections using the symbol of a dhol. It is wrong to allege that our candidates have withdrawn. The report creates confusion among our voters.
