Solving our problems: Pakistan-ization

The country has been plagued by issue after issue for years, But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It is time for the nation to begin Pakistan-ization.

Going through testing times is not new for Pakistan. The world wants to categorise us as a failed state, or a potential terrorist country heading for a total disaster. Along with some countries (including our neighbours on both sides) nature has shown its anger towards Pakistan in such a way that all four provinces are effected almost equally.

Pakistan has made it through worse times in the past. But the floods are the worst we have seen in a while,  as the final death toll and magnitude of destruction is yet to be realized. Nevertheless, this resilient nation has all it needs to spring back in no time. It has been done in the past, and it is possible in the future. In spite of the theft of resources, corruption from top to bottom and policies that restrict us from tapping our own resources Pakistan is still surviving.

A lesson to learn from all of the above: for every individual of this country is to start speaking the truth and nothing but the truth.

We need to mend our ways by and not blame others for our own mistakes and home-grown problems. We need to learn tolerance and patience. When there is a difference of opinion and we must allow everyone the right to express their ideology, whether it is political or religious, remaining within the limits of the Holy Quran and the Constitution. Lastly, we need to identify the enemy within. Only then will we unite as a federation. We need faith in our future and national discipline to run this extraordinarily rich country.

It is easy to criticise Pakistan on social networks and the media but it is mostly pseudo intellectuals who indulge in these activities. I am sure if they go through what a patriot goes through every day, they will think twice about saying negative things about the country and its people.

First, we need to identify friend from foe, because they are among us. The ones who convince you to hate others or feel superior to someone who is not like you. You will have to stop forcing your beliefs on others, and keep them in your own house. Every one of us is responsible for our own deeds, you don't get a bonus point if you have influenced a conversion by force.

My Pakistan-ization solution
Separate religion from state

Bring uniformity to the education system

Revamp and revolutionise the health sector

Transparent judiciary

Accountability  with honest work by citizens

I guarantee that in no time Pakistan will be the next strategically located trading power of the world if we follow this plan. None of us can do it alone, we must be bring together all pro-Pakistan forces against all anti-Pakistan forces and those who challenge the law of the land for their selfish gains.
