Computers and children

Parents need to monitor and regulate access to computers and that children spend time on healthy activities

GILGIT-BALTISTAN: Computer usage among children is very common nowadays. The majority of parents provide their children with access to computer facilities from an early age so that they could become familiar with modern technology. I believe that such an attitude on the part of parents has multiple drawbacks.

Today’s children spend too much time playing computer games and watching movies, and less time reading books and participating in outdoor activities. Parents need to make sure that access to computers should be monitored and regulated, and that children spend enough time on other healthy activities as well.
