Conduct of private schools

Letter November 26, 2015
On consistent misconduct shown by school administrations, schools should be shut down

ISLAMABAD: Fee hikes by private schools have caused a good deal of nuisance for parents. The rise in fee is bizarre because these inordinate increases do not correlate with the current economic climate. The under-discussion schools are some of the most prestigious in the country, having numerous branches in every city. They enjoy a reputation that allows them to make changes in fee structures every now and then.

I recommend that private schools be held accountable with regard to their policymaking that changes without notification and the government should be vigilant about the matter. On consistent misconduct shown by school administrations, schools should be shut down.
