IT Board to host ArtTech Festival on Nov 20

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board will hold ArtTech Festival 2015 on November 20 to promote the indigenous culture of the province through technological platforms.


This was stated in a handout issued by the information directorate on Tuesday.


“The two-day festival will be held at Peshawar Museum,” read the statement. “Minister for Information Technology Shahram Khan Tarakai will inaugurate the event. Government dignitaries, speakers from national and international IT companies and students from various universities are invited to attend the event.”


According to the document, IT Board will collaborate with World Bank, Tourism Corporation K-P and Peshawar 2.0 for the event. “The aim is to showcase innovations and create job opportunities for the youth of K-P,” stated the handout. “The festival will promote technological development in the province.”


A series of technical workshops, design expos, food stalls and culture booths have been planned for the event.
