Sheesha-Smoking : Two cafes sealed in F-11, E-11

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration has sealed two cafes for providing sheesha to customers. Cafe Black Lounge in Sector E-11 and Café Redex in F-11 Markaz were raided by Additional Deputy Commissioner Capt (retd) Waqas Rashid for selling and serving sheesha to underage customers in violation of tobacco laws, said a statement posted on the social media page of the district commissioner. The raiding team also found extremely unhygienic food items in the kitchens of these outlets. The team confiscated nine sheesha hukkas, coal, foils and a huge quantity of buckets filled with flavour and other substance from the cafes. Cases have been registered against the café owners at the Golra and Shalimar police stations under sections of Prohibition of Smoking and Prevention of Non Smoker’s Health Ordinance 2002.
