Commander, 17 militants killed in Orakzai

ORAKZAI: Seventeen terrorists, including key commander Abdul Malik, were killed in Orakzai as security forces pounded militant hideouts in Badgam and Mashti.

Meanwhile, security forces have taken control of the Mashti Mela area. Separately, 10 people have been arrested for looting valuables from locked houses in Ferozkhel.

Sources said the 10 people arrested were seen looting houses when local authorities and security forces spotted them and took strict immediate action.

Clashes are ongoing between militants and security forces in other parts of Orakzai Agency but no casualties have been reported as yet.
