I am quite disturbed to find the writer defending Ms Malik’s disgraceful acts and indecent behaviour.
LAHORE: This is with reference to Raza Rumi’s article of December 24 titled “Veena Malik and the moral brigade”. I am frankly quite disturbed to find the writer defending Ms Malik’s disgraceful acts and indecent behaviour as some kind of ‘artistic expression’.
I agree with him on certain points that some elements in our country are inclined towards extremism, for instance, in the case of flogging women and other such brutal acts. But that does not mean that Ms Malik’s acts of inappropriate dressing, dancing and sharing intimate moments with certain people inside the house can be defended.
Surely, Ms Malik should remember that she is a representative of Pakistan and all that it stands for.
