Spurious Drugs: Adjournment motion submitted in PA

He demanded that the government take notice of the report immediately

LAHORE: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) leader Syed Waseem Akhtar submitted an adjournment motion in the Provincial Assembly on Thursday accusing officials at government hospitals of corruption in the purchase of medicines. Akhtar referred to a news report about a contractor favoured for the purchase of spurious medicines. He said those responsible for the corruption should be brought to the book. He demanded that the government take notice of the report immediately.
