At least one person was killed and 12 others injured when a fire engulfed a plaza in Lahore's Ichra area on Tuesday, Express News reported.

According to initial reports, the fire was triggered by a short circuit, and as wires caught fire, smoke engulfed the seven-storey building.

“A man who jumped out of a window of the plaza succumbed to his injuries,” a police source told the Express News.
