Flood victims in Zhob

Letter August 09, 2015
The government has allotted little funds for the victims without even visiting the affected people and places

ZHOB: Some 15 days have passed since floods destroyed Zhob district of Balochistan, but the so-called government is enjoying its sound sleep. The destruction includes several casualties and people becoming homeless, along with destroyed agriculture, roads and infrastructure.

The government has allotted little funds for the victims without even visiting the affected people and places. The germs of corruption, favouritism and nepotism have left people empty-handed. My request to the government is to launch an inquiry against corrupt officials and help the victims.
