LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Sunday granted bail to seven people, accused of disrupting the flow of traffic in Liaquatabad. The court ordered then to furnish surety bonds of Rs30,000 each. The defence counsel said that they were innocent. “Police arrested them after the real culprits fled,” he said. The case investigation officer said that the accused were fruit vendors. “Everyday, they set their carts on the main road and cause traffic jams. We had warned them several times and took them into custody after they did not comply,” he said.
