How do they justify the subsidy that is being doled out to commuters of the air-conditioned buses in big cities
DUBAI: I would like to ask our rulers, those who make policies and do planning on behalf of the general public using taxpayers’ money, as to what rationale they saw in investing in Metrobus projects as a priority over reinforcing flood-prone river embankments.
How do they justify the subsidy that is being doled out to commuters of the air-conditioned buses in big cities, reportedly at the rate of Rs20 a trip, vis-a-vis those poor Pakistanis suffering from floods, living without food, clean water, clothing, and medicine under open skies, and left to the mercy of the waves?
