PESHAWAR:


A high-level delegation of Afghanistan’s Defense Ministry currently visiting Pakistan called on Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant-General Hidayatur Rahman on Wednesday.


According to media wing of the armed forces, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the eight-member delegation headed by Brigadier-General Abdul Qadeer exchanged views on and cross border issues and matters of bilateral interests with high-ranking officers of Pakistan’s armed forces while visiting the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar.


Both sides agreed on better coordination and enhancing security measures at border to avoid any untoward incidents, the Inter-Services Public Relations  statement added.


The Afghan delegation is visiting Pakistan to build trust between both nations in order to end violence and terrorism in the region.
