KARACHI: I would like to appreciate the somewhat improved service of PIA in recent times. Previously, it was a hassle to return a PIA ticket if you changed your mind for some reason and did not avail it. This is not the case anymore. Now you just have to call the PIA office and inform the staff of your change in plans.
In any case, the PIA staff keeps calling you to ensure that you are travelling as per the reservation you have made. Even then, if you don’t fly, you can inform the PIA reservation office and have your ticket returned or the time of your flight changed. You, of course, may have to pay a bit of a penalty for this, but there is at least someone listening to you at PIA and the customer is not left holding on to the phone line for hours.
