Sneha | 8 years ago | Reply @timorlane then who was Yahya Khan? 3million lives including women and children lives were lost. So was the call of direct action day by your revered leader that led to 5000 hindus loose their lives. 1. The chief minister of gujarat never provoked, organised or lead any mob like you claim. The allegation on him was he did very little to stop the riot quickly as the CM. It was alleged he was biased. The question was did he purposely go slow on stopping the riots? The allegation didn't stand in court because CM did everything he could. He wrote letter to send police from neighbouring congress ruled states, they didn't send due to politics. He requested centre to send army. The centre left state should handle it. Only when it got out of control did centre intervene. And we all know how quickly South asian bureucracy works in any sudden event. It's interesting you forget why the ruots occured in first place. It was the hindu pilgrims train carrying woman and children set on fire by muslim that led to revenge riots. If indian muslim founded themselves unsafe they would have taken refuge in other South Asian countries, not a single one does. Instead we have loads of people's from other saarc country asking for indian citizenship. The minority population in india has grown and in yours reduced from 25% to 1.2%. Look within first.
