I request government officials to establish a proper system for the maintenance of such infrastructure
WAH CANTT: I recently travelled to Bahawalpur from Taxila, where there are a number of canals and link canals. The infrastructure and bridges built over the canals and the adjoining roads are dilapidated and poorly maintained. One can feel tremors while travelling over the decrepit bridges. One won’t be surprised if these bridges collapse at some point in time. A fatal accident just recently occurred in Gujranwala in a similar manner.
I request government officials to establish a proper system for the maintenance of such infrastructure in order to avoid loss of human life in the future.
