Mystery unveiled?

The charges levelled by the BBC are of serious concern and require in-depth investigations

MUZAFFARGARH: The BBC, in a recent report, claimed that there was an India-MQM nexus working against Pakistan. While one should take these new revelations with a grain of salt, one cannot deny that street crimes and other subversive activities in Karachi have declined since the Rangers’ recent operation. Likewise, daily strikes that resulted in shutting down the entire city, in protest against the arrest or killing of a single party worker, have also been curbed.

The detention of target killers from various hideouts and their confessions establish that there are some sections working against our dear homeland at the behest of external forces. The charges levelled by the BBC are of serious concern and require in-depth investigations. The party ought to have challenged the allegations in British courts by now. If, after proper investigations, it is found that there was truth in the BBC report, stern action should be taken against criminal elements seeking to harm Pakistan.
