CNG station owner and a plaza owner have not paid their annual property tax so far

ATTOCK: Attock excise and taxation department has raised Rs150 million under the head of property and vehicle tax during the outgoing fiscal year so far. Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Muhammad Ali Naveed said on Friday that 80 per cent tax targets had been achieved in the district.  He explained that around 6,000 property tax payers are registered with the district excise office. He said most pay their taxes on time.  Naveed said a CNG station owner and a plaza owner have not paid their annual property tax so far. The timely registration of vehicles is in the interest of vehicle owners, said the ETO, sharing further that 86 trucks, 60 pick-ups, nine buses, 154 cars, 4,115 tractors, 84,112 motorcycles and 9,119 rickshaws had been registered by the district excise and taxation office since 2007.
