TTP chief, Syed Alam Shah lays down arms before forces, details of terms and conditions remain unknown

QUETTA:


A local commander of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) surrendered in Ziarat district of Balochistan on Tuesday.


According to official sources, the TTP local chief, Syed Alam Shah, laid down arms before the government forces. Further details of the terms and conditions thereof are yet to be known.


Meanwhile, two members of a proscribed group were arrested in a suburb of Quetta.

According to details, acting on a tip-off, security forces launched a search operation in Soranj area of the capital city and rounded up two members of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from their possession.
