The gender of Kim and Kanye’s second baby has been revealed. The couple, popularly referred to as “Kimye”, started dating in 2012. Their first child, a girl named North West, was born in 2013 and they recently revealed the gender of their second baby due in December.

Kim Karshian broke the news on Instagram on Sunday sharing a photo of Kanye reading to their 2-year-old daughter North.

Earlier in the day, she posted another picture of the rapper, giving their little girl a kiss.

“I’m so lucky to be married to a man who is so in love with his daughter, your bond is so irreplaceable,” she wrote. “Thank you for being such a good dad! We love and appreciate you so much! We’re so blessed to have you!”

Kim had a hard struggle to conceive this baby. They announced the pregnancy in May and many wondered if the couple would name their baby South.

But according to People, in an interview with NPR’s weekly quiz show, Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, the pregnant reality star clarified that that name is off the list.

“I think it’s so stupid,” said thirty-four-year-old Kim, “I don’t like South West. North will always be better.”

“North already has the “better direction,” according to her proud mama. “I don’t think we’ll go with another direction.”
