Pictures: As temperatures rise, people take a dip

While some have simply been swimming and relaxing in the water, some went a step further and showered in the lakes

As the deadly heatwave continues to sweep Karachi and other parts of the country, people have resorted to cooling off in nearby lakes and water bodies, as well us under the shade of trees and bridges, to escape the sweltering heat and the wrath of load-shedding.
