At least 10 militants killed in Datta Khel

Security forces also successful in destroying militant hideouts

DATTA KHEL: At least 10 militants were killed in an operation in North Waziristan's Datta Khel area on Thursday as part of the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement revealed.


During the operation, security forces were also successful in destroying militant hideouts.

Datta Khel area of the restive tribal region was considered a stronghold of local and foreign militant outfits before June, last year, when the military launched a full-scale offensive.

Earlier this month, at least 22 militants were killed in aerial strikes and a ground operation in the same region.

A large cache of arms and ammunition were also destroyed during the aerial strikes, an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement revealed.

Azi | 8 years ago | Reply This might sting the Indian defense minister a little more than an average Indian. Must be sad times for them, watching their investments going up in the air. I wonder on average how much money they spent bribing, training, and equipping them to carry out their dirty work in Pakistan. Only if ISI played a similar role, India would be in chaos.
