BHAKKAR: As many as 29 camels died between Thursday and Friday, Livestock Department officials said.

A spokesman said farmers in desert areas of Ratri, Fazal, Gadai and Bardanga had reported that their camels had died overnight.

He said Bhakkar DCO Zaman Wattoo had sent samples of the dead camels to Lahore for examination.
