Clan feud: Tribal elder gunned down in Kalat

SHO Reki added that the cause of the killing is tribal enmity.

QUETTA: A tribal elder and member of district council Kalat, Sardar Ghulam Murtaza Shahwani, was gunned down in the Pandrani area of Kalat district, some 160 kms away from provincial capital on Tuesday. Station House Officer (SHO) Kalat Mohammad Yousuf Reki told The Express Tribune that armed men riding a motorcycle had opened fire on a car in Pandrani area of Kalat, as a result of which the tribal elder was killed on the spot. SHO Reki added that the cause of the killing is tribal enmity.
