Wall of peace: School children competition begins

The aim of the project was to promote feelings of peaceful co-existence and tolerance

LAHORE: A painting competition titled Wall of Peace Against Terrorism was launched at the Cosmopolitan Club on Monday. The Tanzeem-e-Alfajar Pakistan (TAP) project intends to highlight the importance of peaceful co-existence and tolerance. Addressing the ceremony, organiser Ahmad Owais said paintings by 25 children selected from amongst a pool of 100 would be displayed in classrooms at various schools in the city. He said the aim of the project was to promote feelings of peaceful co-existence and tolerance among the youth. MPA Sadia Sohail also spoke on the occasion.
