ISLAMABAD: It is very encouraging to see Mr Shahid Javed Burki finally come round to the point that good economics without democratic polity cannot lead to sustained growth and development (“Pakistan’s political leaders as heroes” published on April 13). Technocrats waiting in the wings, please take heed.
