Hollywood actor Megan Fox, says she’s the opposite of what people might believe. “People assume I’m not very smart or educated or earnest, but that makes me laugh. I’m not your typical music video model,” she said in her interview to Harper’s Bazaar, reported IANS.

She further explained why people might have this misconception saying, “I have this image that I’m sort of narcissistic, chasing attention, and wanting people to like me,” reported US Weekly Magazine.

The 28-year-old star, who became a household name after appearing in two Transformers films, admitted that she ‘had no idea’ what she was doing when she accepted the role in 2007.

Her debut role opposite Shia LaBeouf was criticised and she was ultimately fired after comparing working with Michael Bay to Hitler. She said, “In Transformers, I was a kid, I had no idea what I was doing. There was nothing for me to do [in that movie], but then I did nothing and that was my own call.”

“I don’t take it personally because in some ways I acknowledge and agree. But at the same time, established people have come up to me and said, ‘I really liked Jennifer’s Body, you were really good in that’. The people whose opinions matter liked it so, I’m OK with that,” she added.

Fox, a mother of two adorable boys with husband Brian Austin Green, is refraining to be on the screen to defend herself from critics.
