Dir Lower blast: Cellular services franchise blown up

Police has initiated investigations

DIR LOWER: A franchise of a private cellular company was damaged due to an explosion that occurred in the wee hours of Sunday at Munda Bazar, police said. According to details, unidentified miscreants had planted a bomb outside the franchise. The explosion demolished the shop and partly damaged six other adjacent structures. Although, no loss of life was reported, the families operating the franchise were deprived of their sole source of income. In the past too, cellular franchises and shops offering mobile phone apps and ringtones downloads have been targeted. Police has initiated investigations.
