Violation of traffic rules

Many people park their vehicles where there is a ‘No Parking’ sign

LASBELA: In Dubai, between 6am and 8am — the peak hours of the school commute — heavy vehicles are strictly forbidden to be on the roads so that children may not be late for schools. Drivers caught in violation of the rule are fined and, in addition to that, vehicles are seized.

Something like this is completely unheard of in Pakistan. I feel very sorry when I see school vans being kept waiting by security guards of private factories so that huge trucks and factory vehicles can pass by with ease. Apart from this, many people park their vehicles where there is a ‘No Parking’ sign, making matters all the worse for parents who are trying to drive their children to school.
