Family dispute: Man held for killing wife

ISLAMABAD: The Ramna police took a man into custody for interrogation for his alleged involvement in the murder of his wife. The police also produced the suspect before a local magistrate to seek his remand. The police said that they have also seized the weapon used by the suspect in the killing. According to the police, Babar Khan shot and killed his wife with a pistol over a family dispute on Friday. The suspect had gone into hiding after the crime but the police arrested him during a raid on the hideout. The judicial magistrate remanded the suspect into police custody for 14-days after he confessed to the killing.
