PESHAWAR: Police exhumed the body of North Waziristan Agency tribal elder Imran Badshah’s slain son in order to conduct an autopsy in Urmar on Wednesday. Unidentified militants had earlier barged into Badshah’s house and allegedly gunned Ahmad Khalid down. Elders of the refugee camp assured an ‘internal’ enquiry, but Badshah registered an FIR with Urmar police, terming an autopsy vital for determining the cause of death. “It has been established that Khalid sustained bullet wounds, hence the murder allegations have been substantiated,” said a police official, adding further investigation into the case is under way.
