Old PIA planes

Letter March 06, 2015
Like all modern airlines, it is good that PIA is also upgrading its fleet and is going for modern planes

ISLAMABAD: At last, according to a report, PIA has decided to get rid of its old planes that had been lying on the main tarmac at the Karachi Airport for a number of years and had become an eyesore. Like all modern airlines, it is good that PIA is also upgrading its fleet and is going for modern planes that are less noisy and consume less fuel. It is hoped that over time, the airline will phase out all its old planes and will induct into its inventory only such aircraft that offer better passenger comfort and are faster and more efficient in terms of flying.
