‘I lost my father in a terrorist attack’

Letter March 05, 2015
Kudos to the writer for sharing her pain and grief with the readers in a very heartfelt way

ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to Asma Bangash’s article of March 4 titled “I lost my father in a terrorist attack”. I found her story very moving. It goes to show how this cancer of terrorism impacts innocent lives. Those in power in Pakistan are busy dilly-dallying and quarrelling with one another and it is ordinary people such as the writer — people like you and me — who end up paying the price.

The sorry fact is that we don’t know when this menace will stop, but at the very least we can try and spread the word around of the impact of such heinous acts by sharing stories in the mainstream media.

Kudos to the writer for sharing her pain and grief with the readers in a very heartfelt way. May she and her family have the patience to go through life with courage and beautiful memories of her father.
