Dubai police recently expanded its fleet of super cars by inducting a Lexus RC F.

The fleet already boasts the likes of a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, a Ferrari FF, a Chevrolet Camaro SS, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a Bentley Continental GT, a limited edition Aston Martin One-77, Ford Mustang GT, a BMW M6 Gran Coupé, a Brabus G63 AMG, a Bugatti Veyron, an Audi R8, a Nissan GT-R, Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG , a McLaren MP4-12C, a Hummer H3 , and a Porsche.

The RC F, inducted on February 5, will be the second Lexus in Dubai police's fleet, adding to the Lexus GS.

The fleet of exotic cars, contrary to perception, do are not for chasing down motorists speeding up and down Dubai's spacious motorways. Instead, they are a public relations tools, and patrol the more “important tourist destinations.”

The spine of the Dubai police, though, is made up of Toyota, Nissan and Chevrolet patrol cars.

In 2014, the Dubai Ambulance service got in on the act when they announced the launch of the ‘fastest ambulance in the world’, a Lotus Evora.

Dubai is one of seven emirates in the UAE federation, and is staging a recovery from the financial crisis it suffered during the global financial crisis in 2009.

Earlier today, a video showing the patrolling of luxurious cars was released by the Dubai Police.
