Aerial firing: FIR registered against 30 BZU students

Firing took place when students were protesting against the BZU administration.

MULTAN: A First Information Report (FIR) was registered against 31 students of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) for resorting to aerial firing outside Ali Hostel. An Alapa police spokesman said some people called police when firing was heart at Ali Hostel where students were protesting against the BZU administration.

He said when the police team arrived, students fled. He said a case had been registered against Rehan, Shoaib, Rashid, Zahid, Imran, Mehboob and other students under section 186, 337H2, 148/149 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
