Hollywood A-listers dazzled on the red carpet at this year’s Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in bang-on-trend gowns.

Boasting ruby to regal amethyst to emerald green ensembles, the evening was brimming with lustre and style. Here’s a round-up of some of the looks from the evening.

Camila Alves

Rocking an aubergine amethyst-hued Donna Karan gown, Camila ticked all the glamour boxes. The strapless number glided over her curves, with the draped detailing and side-train exuding finesse. Lady McConaughey gleamed in a minimal look; simple diamond earrings and an Aldo clutch paired with sun-kissed make-up and side-parted locks accentuated the dress, while showcasing the model’s natural charm.

Emma Stone

The Birdman star wore a uniquely tailored sheer dress by Raf Simons for Dior Haute Couture. Keeping it modest with a long-line tuxedo jacket on top, the star showcased a polished look. With well-placed opaque panels, the dress channelled sensuality and sophistication. A vivid red lip and matching mani added colour to the all-black outfit. Drawing inspiration from gothic sensibilities, she kept her copper mane neat and tucked back in a slick side-part. A fashion risk that truly paid off.

Julianne Moore

Not only did Julianne with the SAG award for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role’ for her stint in Still Alice, but she also won our hearts on the red carpet. Donning an embellished custom Givenchy gown, she was a vision in green. The sleeveless floor-grazing number was gracefully figure-hugging and its elaborate ornamentation added appeal to the ensemble. She rounded up her look with Chopard jewels, which complemented her red hair.

Reese Witherspoon

Diamond white was a popular choice on the red carpet, with the Wild actor leading the way in an asymmetrical hip-hugging Giorgio Armani gown with sequinned trimmings at the neck and shoulders. The one-shoulder number showed off her defined arms. Working bold make-up with a loud burgundy lip and crimson cheeks, Reese kept her hair simple in a smooth ponytail. She kept her look classy by wearing Harry Winston diamonds.
