I am amazed to see The Express Tribune has published an article written by a leader charged with corruption on record
VANCOUVER: This is with reference to Firdous Ashiq Awan’s article, “Existential challenges for Pakistan” published in The Express Tribune on January 14. I am amazed to see that The Express Tribune has published an article written by a leader charged with corruption on record and who is also facing a NAB reference. Both the print and electronic media have gone nuts. They invite leaders whose honesty is in doubt to their shows, and give them space in newspapers, and ask them to speak on honesty, integrity, morality and ethics. It is a shame that the media presents such leaders as honourable and respectable, worthy of expressing their opinions on issues of national interest. I am very disappointed.
