Indian Army Chief General Dalbir Singh on Tuesday renewed his country’s oft-repeated accusation that Pakistan is supporting a ‘proxy war’ in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Pakistan is supporting a proxy war in Jammu and Kashmir despite suffering casualties within their country,” General Dalbir Singh was cited by Indian media outlets as telling a news conference.

“One will have to ‘wait and watch’ if Pakistan Army has had a change of heart since the gruesome attack on an army school in Peshawar last month that drew condemnation in India,” he told a rapt audience of Indian journalists.

“Threats and challenges have been growing, both in intensity as well as commitment, because of active borders that we have,” Singh said.

“The recent strikes by the terrorists not only reflect their desperation but are also a grim reminder that the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan is intact,” he added.

Yes I am Indian. I have seen Kashmir 6 times. It is really heaven on earth and heard that Kashmir on Pakistan side is more beautiful. We are fighting for Kashmir from many years. But what we want from Kashmir. It looks that fight is for a peace of land not for Kashmir people. Why don't we start a war in different manner, we start developing Kashmir of both side by respective governments. And put all the money on Kashmir's development that we are wasting on fighting. And let say after 8 or 10 years we loosen up the borders and allow free movements of people. But we are not ready to learn anything from past. Its Divide and Rule policy that Britishers taught us still in our leaders mind. One day might come when India and Pakistan will become mature!

@Alina:

@Dipak: Try as you may, this pathetic attempt by you Indians to drive a wedge between us and China simply won’t work.

Clutch to your straws but it's a fact that China banned burqas.
