Heirs having problems with their hair

Prince William throws shade at Kate Middleton’s ‘nightmare’ tresses

News Desk December 19, 2014

During a private visit to Centrepoint, a homeless charity in London this week, Duke of Cambridge Prince William kidded to a trainee hairdresser during a mentoring session that she should try styling his wife Kate Middleton’s “nightmare” hair, reported eonline.com.

“[Prince William] was asking us about Centrepoint — how we were doing with our courses and all that sort of stuff. Then suddenly he asked whether I could help out with Kate’s hair, because it’s such a nightmare. I didn’t think he was serious at first — I couldn’t believe it,” the apprentice named Angel told US Weekly.

Angel added that the Duke confirmed what the rest of us already know, that the Duchess’ glossy locks are “so long and thick, it’s a bit of an issue”. “So I laughed and said I’d love to help out. It would be amazing to do Kate’s hair, because it’s so flawless,” she said.

The future King of England, once dubbed the “hairless heir” by the British press was joking, of course, but seems like Middleton had asked for it. Previously, she made a joke about his thinning hair while in Australia in April. “The Prince was interested in the alpaca wool and as I showed it to them. The princess said he should put it on his head,” local farmer Lyn Crejan told reporters. “She said, ‘You need it more than me,’ and pointed to his head and he laughed.”

Middleton, who is pregnant with her second child now, has her hair styled by Amanda Cook Tucker.
