Collision: Two dead, five injured

MUZAFFARABAD:

At least two persons including a woman were killed and five others injured during a collision between two vehicles in the Chatter Kalass area, some 15 kilometres from here.

According to the police, an ambulance carrying seven persons including a sick child was going from Neelum Valley to Rawalpindi, when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction near Chatter Kalass.

As a result of the collision, two persons, who were identified as Aleefuddin and Zeenat Bibi, died on the spot. At least five other persons including the child sustained injuries and were shifted to the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayad Al-Nahyan Hospital in Muzaffarabad for treatment.

Doctors said that the child was in critical condition, while the condition of the rest of the injured was out of danger.
