I request the Islamabad Traffic Police to cooperate more with citizens while the project is under construction
RAWALPINDI: Infrastructure development is very important for any country. I am not against the Metro Bus project. In fact, I appreciate that the government has taken initiatives to develop and improve the local transport facilities for the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. But its construction has given the residents of the twin cities a very hard time.
I request the Islamabad Traffic Police to cooperate more with citizens while the project is under construction. Besides the inconvenience to commuters, the pollution and dust caused because of the project is injurious to health. This is another aspect that the authorities need to consider and complete the project as soon as possible.
