Party sources said workers will be transported to the venue from Jhelum, Attock and Chakwal in buses, coaches and other means of transport. They claimed that the owners of the transport vehicles have already been paid.

Member Provincial Assembly Ijaz Khan Jazi was given the responsibility of running party affairs at district level after the suspension of former PTI northern Punjab president Sadaqat Abbasi, district president MPA Arif Abbasi, and other leaders.

Jazi is currently visiting different parts of the city to mobilise people to participate in the rally. Awami Muslim League workers are also campaigning in their strongholds to mobilise people for the PTI rally.

PTI sources said that they were hoping to mobilise around 30,000 people from Rawalpindi division and the northern region. The PTI workers will reach the venue in large groups to avoid being held by the police, the sources said.

The police have avoided raiding the offices and homes of PTI leaders. A senior police officer said that they there was no plan to arrest the PTI leadership.

I hope PTI leaves the politics of lying and trying to topple an elected government and actually concentrate on working for the residents of KPK
